  • 8th Grade Students…Open House is at Hempstead and Senior High School on Monday, January 27th from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
  • There will be a Battle of the Books meeting on Friday (January 17th) during Success Time. Please check in with your Success Time teacher for a pass and then come to the library.
  • ..Thursday, January 16th…Advanced Painting with Brandi; Homework Help.
  • Jefferson Dance/Activity Night is tomorrow, January 17th. The cost is $4 and hills bills can not be used.  Loras Dance Marathon will be here.  If you have had 4 or more referrals or a suspension, you will not be able to attend the dance.
  • The LRC will be closed Periods 2 and 3 today, January 16th for 6th grade FAST testing.

  • Congratulations to the Special Olympics Crew for their great job in Snow Shoeing. Bryce White placed 3rd in 100 meter and 4th in the 200 meter.  Matthew Tupper placed 1st in both the 100 meter and 200 meter.  Thomas Wilson also placed 1st in both the 100 meter and 200 meter.

  • Kindness Hearts…Hillhawk Helpers are putting sticky notes on random lockers or classroom doors throughout the building. These are called “Kindness Hearts”. Kindness Hearts have a positive message and enough room for the recipient to add another message and pass it on again. Please help encourage kindness on the Hill!
