- Birthdays Today – February 24th…Mason Lipper, MiBerlynn Joel.
- Hempstead High School is hosting a Middle School Cheerleading Clinic on March 26th. The cost is $35 dollars and you can register online and more information available at hempsteadcheer.dbqschoolscamps.com.
- This announcement is for all CREW members of The Lion King. All CREW members need to attend a brief meeting after school on Wednesday, Feb 26. All Crew and Cast members will receive tickets for The Lion King. This means everyone in the entire Crew and Cast of The Lion King should attend rehearsal on Wednesday, Feb 26.
- The DCSD Jazz Festival is today at Roosevelt Middle School. Students will leave at 9:15 and return around 11:00.
- 7th grade students will be going to University of Dubuque for the “Arc Attack: Engineering 101” presentation. Load buses at 11:45 and return around 1:15.

- Sports Today – Boys Red Basketball…Jefferson Red vs. Roosevelt Silver. 7th grade at Roosevelt and 8th grade Jefferson; both games begin at 4 p.m.
- The answer to Tuesday’s trivia question was –Cassius Clay (Winners were Tristan Moment & Christian Mueller). Wednesday’s Trivia answer was – Woolworth’s (Winner is Theodore Speer).
