4) All 8th grade students who will attend Hempstead in the fall may try out for the freshman baseball team at Core Field on May 4th, 5th and 6th from 6 to 7:30 p.m. each evening.

5) Sports Today – Boys and Girl Track and Field…Boys and Girls Track Meet at Dalzell Field beginning at 5 p.m.

6) Track participants, please remember to bring warm clothes for the meet tonight.

7) Attention softball players: If any 8th graders are interested in playing softball for Hempstead High School this summer, there will be an informational meeting on Thursday, April 22nd in Hempstead’s cafeteria. The meeting will start at 6pm. Thank you, and Go Mustangs!

5) Sports Today – Girls Track & Field…Mazzuchelli is hosting Jefferson, Roosevelt and Washington at Wahlert high school. The meet begins at 4:30.
