3) Girls in grades 6th through 8th…Hempstead Girls Basketball is holding a Holiday Skills Camp from Wednesday, December 28th through Friday, December 30th from 11 to 12 p.m. at Moody Gym (Hempstead High School). The cost is $20 dollars which includes a t-shirt. Sign up at dbqschoolscamps.com.

2) Girls in grades 6th through 8th…Hempstead Girls Basketball is holding a Holiday Skills Camp from Wednesday, December 28th through Friday, December 30th from 11 to 12 p.m. at Moody Gym (Hempstead High School). The cost is $20 dollars which includes a t-shirt. Sign up at dbqschoolscamps.com.

3) There will be a Dessert Sushi event today from 4-6 p.m. at the MFC (1157 Central Ave) for all 6th through 8th graders to attend. It is free and dinner will be provided. You must register at the MFC ahead of time.

5) 1st trimester art students need to come get their artwork by Friday if they would like it.

6) Have you ever been interested in student council? Do you know what student council does? If these are things that interest you, we will be forming a student council at Jefferson! During circles today, you will do a student council circle to learn more about what student council is and does, along with how to run for student council. We want to get students elected before we leave for winter break, so when we return, we can jump right into it! There will be more specific details on when you will run for the council soon, but if you have any questions after your circle, please reach out to Mr. Shults or Mrs. Biros!
