1) Birthdays Today…December 15th…Wyatt Crosby, Chloe Meisenburg, Hunter Kelly, Kiara Vasquez.
2) If you weren’t able to attend auditions last night for our Spring musical, “Godspell”, we will be holding auditions again today right after school 2:30-4:00 p.m. 6th, 7th and 8th grade students are welcome to try out.
3) Our first Jefferson dance/activity social is happening tomorrow. It will begin right after school at 2:30 p.m. and end at 4:30 p.m. Please know that in order to attend, students must have 3 or fewer referrals since the start of the school year and no suspensions. The cost of the dance is $2 and we will be selling wristbands during your lunchtime tomorrow.
4) 7th/8th grade boys’ basketball and Girl’s Dance will be starting on Jan. 2nd. Student must have a physical on file to participate.
5) Please check your emails for the details of the first DARE Ski/Snowboard event coming up on December 30th.
6) Girls in grades 6th through 8th – Check your email for the following… Hempstead Girls Basketball is holding a Holiday Skills Camp from Wednesday, December 28th through Friday, December 30th from 11 to 12 p.m. at Moody Gym (Hempstead High School). The cost is $20 dollars which includes a t-shirt. Sign up at dbqschoolscamps.com.
