1) Wish Mr. McMullen a happy birthday today. Birthdays Today – May 10th…Sapphire Langidrik, Jeremiah Murriel.

2) In the month of May students who have 2, or fewer, referrals and no suspensions will get a delicious treat on May 26. We want to celebrate you and your good behavior! As of Monday, there 164 6th graders / 133 7th graders / 165 8th graders who are able to participate! That’s 462 students all together. Stay focused, get your work done, and listen to your teachers.

3) 6th grade Football and Volleyball began yesterday. You can still sign up, just stop by Mrs. Haverland’s office.

4) Reminder…Wednesday is College Day. Wear your college apparel.

2) Last week we talked about being kind. This week’s Monday message is about being “Focused”. We are getting closer to the end of the school year, but we still have some work to do. You need to maintain Focus in your classes and on your schoolwork. Be sure to check your email for some help tips.

3) Today is School Lunch Hero Day! It is time to celebrate the Food & Nutrition staff! They have worked through a national pandemic and crazy supply chain issues. District wide, they have served over 1,141,491 meals through the month of March with many more to come. When you go to lunch today, please be sure to thank them for a job well done!

4) Sports Tomorrow – Boys and Girls Washington Relays Track & Field Meet…Meet will begin at 9 a.m. at Dalzell Field.

1) Birthdays Today – May 2…Kaiden Kohler, Marcus Gibson.

2) Congratulations Gracie Federonich, Stacy Montelius, Alexis Luetzelschwab and Jeannie Jasper. They are our 8th grade Battle of the Books team and the took 1st place! They beat out teams from Washington, Roosevel and Mazzuchelli. Way to go!!!

3) Monday message for this week is a simple one…If you can be anything in life, why not “BE KIND”? It’s really not that hard to be kind to others. To be kind costs absolutely nothing, you don’t need to buy expensive gifts. Even the little things like saying please and thank you have a big impact.
