Thomas Jefferson Middle School Announcements

Wednesday, January 16, 2019 — Day B

1) Birthdays Today – January 16th…Brooklyn Birch.

2) Leap…Wednesdays, January 16th through February 27th – Chess Club. Wednesday, January 16th – Valentine Cards for Hospitalized Kids. Thursdays, January 17th through January 31st – Line Dancing.

3) Girls Dance will practice today in the Wrestling Room.

4) Mrs. Meyer’s homebase would like to challenge ALL homebases in the Humane Society Drive. Bring items to be donated to your homebase. The drive begins today and ends on February 8th.Items will be collected every Friday starting January 18th. The homebase that donates the most will earn an ice cream party. Items you can donate are listed on posters around the school and in the cafeteria. You can also visit the Humane Society’s website for ideas. Good luck and let the competition begin!!!

The auditions will be in front of several adults involved with the play and consist of listening to each person sing part of a song of his or her choice and read a few lines of dialog. Call backs will be after school on January 10th. Everyone who auditions will be in the play.

The auditions will be in front of several adults involved with the play and consist of listening to each person sing part of a song of his or her choice and read a few lines of dialog. Call backs will be after school on January 10th. Everyone who auditions will be in the play.

4) Leap…Tuesday, January 8th – Jazzercize. Backstage Crew Training that was scheduled for today has been canceled, it will be rescheduled. Tuesdays, January 8th through January 29th – Kids ‘n Canvas. Wednesdays, January 9th through February 27th – Chess Club. Thursdays, January 10th through January 31st – Ballroom Dancing. Wednesday, January 16th – Valentine Cards for Hospitalized Kids.

3) Boys 7th and 8th grade basketball and girls 7th and 8th grade dance will be starting January 3rd. Students must have a physical on file to participate.

4) Our winner’s in the Elk’s Free Throw Contest are Jalon Johnson, Ava Runde, Isaac Smith, and Ella Campbell. They have advanced to the next round at Washington on January 5th.
