  • Birthdays Today – October 28th…No birthdays.
  • The book fair has arrived! It will be open before school, after school, during success time (come with a pass), and during conferences. It will be here until Thursday, October 31st.
  • Parent Teacher conferences will be held Wednesday, October 30 from 3:30-9:00 PM and Thursday, October 31 from 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM. Come and meet with your child’s teachers. We encourage students to attend this event. The book fair will also be available during conference hours.

  • All volleyball and cross country students need to turn their uniforms into the main office in a plastic bag with their name on it.
  • The book fair has arrived! It will be open before school, after school, during success time (come with a pass), and during conferences. It will be here until Thursday, October 31st.
  • LEAP…Friday, Oct 25th …Homework Help only.
  • Don’t forget to sign up for the Battle of the Books! Sign up sheets are on the circulation desk in the LRC.
  • General Expectations during the football games:
  • We strongly recommend that ALL students in grades K-8 be accompanied by an adult.
  • NO backpacks, bags, etc. are allowed in Dalzell Field by students.
  • Students will need to show their school ID for admission to the game. Middle School students must wear their school ID for the duration of the contest.
  • Students are expected to sit/stand in the designated student sections based on their grade level (ie. Middle school or high school).
  • Students are expected to display good sportsmanship towards both the home and visiting teams and their fans.
  • We have the same expectations of student behavior at Dalzell Field as are in place during the school day at all of our district buildings.
  • Failure to adhere to these expectations and the directions given by district staff may result in students being asked to leave the contest, as well as being suspended from attending future district athletic events.

4) Sports Today – Girls Red Volleyball…Jefferson Red vs. Roosevelt Black. 7th grade at Jefferson and 8th grade at Roosevelt; both games begin at 4 p.m.

1) Birthdays Today – April 1st…No birthdays.

2) Reminder…8th grade baseball players planning to play at Hempstead this summer, our parent player meeting is today, April 1st at 6 p.m. in the Hempstead High School cafeteria. It is important for players to be there to complete impact testing with our athletic trainer.

3) 7th and 8th grade track practice begins today. Boys will meet in Mr. Rottler’s room and girls will meet in Ms. Decker’s room.

1) Birthdays Today – March 21st…Taniza Hannon, Madison Maus.

2) On Thursday, March 28th from 6-9 p.m., Loras College Dance Marathon is having another fundraiser. The fundraiser is $15 dollars in advanced and $20 at the door for a three hour jump at Vertical Jump in the mail.

3) 7th and 8th grade boys and girls track sign up will be in the cafeteria. Track will start April 1st, students must have a physical on file to participate.

4) LEAP…Thursday, March 21st: Homework Help. Friday, March 22nd …There will be NO LEAP.
