1) Birthdays Today – October 16th…No birthdays today.
2) The book fair will be held in the LRC today through Thursday 10/18. We’ll be open during home base, weekly scheduled LRC visits, and during conferences. You can purchase books and bookmarks and enter a contest to win free books. A portion of every dollar spent at the book fair will be earned to buy new books for the library.
3) Leap – Today…Skull Diggery (Look at skulls and artifacts to learn more about animals.) October 23rd…Cats (Humane Society will be bring in a cat for you to learn what takes to take care of these fury animals.) October 30th…Archery. Rock Band has several days left too. (October 22nd, October 24th, October 29th, and October 31st)
4) Girls basketball and wrestling start October 22nd. Students must have a physical on file to participate.
5) Sports Today – Girls Red Volleyball…Jefferson Red vs. Drexler Red. 7th grade at Jefferson and 8th grade Drexler; both games begin at 4 p.m.
6) Sports Today – 7th Grade Football…Jefferson vs. Roosevelt Silver at Jefferson beginning at 4:15 p.m.
