2) 7th and 8th grade students, bring you Hills Bills from last year to enter a drawing on Wednesday and Thursday. The drawing will take place during lunch.

3) PBIS Skill of the month: The month of September Jefferson will be focusing on the social skill of How to follow directions. Watch for students demonstrating that they know how to follow directions and provide them with recognition with verbal praise and Hills Bills. Students continue to show staff that Hillhawks know how to implement the September skill.

In an effort to maintain appropriate social distancing, spectator seating will be limited for all Hempstead and Senior sophomore/varsity football games this year at Dalzell Field. Therefore, unless you have a family member participating in the game and have received a “limited-spectator event pass” you will NOT have the opportunity to attend Friday night football games this year. Elementary and middle school students who have a “limited-spectator event pass” and will be attending the game MUST sit with their family and wear a mask.

Tuesday, September 1, 2020 – Hybrid B

Birthdays Today – September 1st…Gabriel Anderson, Logan Hill.

Hybrid (B) Athletes begin today after school. 7th and 8th grade football will meet on the back field. 7th grade volleyball will meet in the South Gym and 8th grade volleyball will meet in the North Gym. 7th and 8th grade cross country will meet in Room 07. A physical must be on file in the main office to participate. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Haverland.

This message is for all Band/Orchestra/Choir students. 7th-8th Band/Orchestra/Choir and 6th Band/Orchestra begin today. 6th Grade Choir does not meet. They will start at a later date. 7th-8th ensembles meet at the beginning of the day, and 6th band/orchestra meet during the middle of the day. All 7th-8th Band/Orchestra/Choir students should pick up their grab-and-go breakfast and head directly to their music ensemble. Choir meets in the auditorium, and band/orchestra meet downstairs in the music rooms.
