1) Birthdays Today – October 7th…James Smith.
2) No Band today. Students will return to their Success Time classes.
3) For those students who are going on the fundraiser cruise next week, be sure to get your signed permission slips back to your Success teacher or main office. Without them, we cannot let you go. Don’t miss out on the fun!
4) The Battle of the Books meeting for 7th and 8th graders has been changed from Friday (10/8) of this week to next Tuesday, October 12th during success time. There will be no informational meeting this week for 7th and 8th graders.
5) LEAP Today…Homework Help, GSA, Gaming Unplugged. LEAP for Friday…Homework Help, Indoor Gardening & Potted Plants.
6) Sports Today – Girls Volleyball…Jefferson vs. Roosevelt Silver. 7th grade at Roosevelt and 8th grade at Jefferson; both games begin at 4 p.m.
7) Sports Today – 7th Grade Football…Jefferson vs. Roosevelt Black at Jefferson beginning at 4:15 p.m.
8) As a reminder, due to school district policy, Students are not allowed to use the vending machines during the school day.
