1) Wish Demacus Fleming a happy birthday, his birthday was yesterday.

3) Because of how crazy last week was, I want to revisit last week’s Monday Message. As a lifelong educator, I certainly relate to Mrs. Obama’s quote. Teaching isn’t about the money, it’s about the difference we make in the lives of others. What difference are you making in the lives of others?
4) Friday, March 4th is our next after school activity/dance event (2:30-4:30 pm.). The cost is $3 with money going to the Stead Family Children’s Hospital in Iowa City. Concessions will be available. Remember, if you have had 3 or more referrals OR have had an in-school/out-of-school suspension, you are not able to attend.
5) LEAP for today…Homework Help, GSA, Gaming Unplugged, All About Arts. LEAP for Tuesday…Homework Help, Hillhawk Helpers, Chess Club.
6) Sports Today – 8th Grade Boys Basketball…Jefferson vs. Roosevelt Silver at Jefferson beginning at 4 p.m.
