Thomas Jefferson Middle School Announcements
Friday, September 9, 2022 – Day A
1) Wish Heather Runde and Mary Jo Splinter a happy birthday today, their birthdays are on Sunday, September 11th.
2) Birthdays Today…September 9th…Joshua Garrett, Mariah Detwiler. September 10th…Lajolie Gayles, Deaven Reddick, Jieden Allen. September 11th…Danielle Jelinek.
3) 6th grade track starts on Monday and Tuesday. The girls will start on Monday, September 12th and the boys will start on Tuesday, September 13th. Girls will have practice on Mondays and Wednesdays and boys will practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Students should meet in room 223 (Mrs. Steepleton’s room).
4) All 7th and 8th graders involved in the new robotics club: First meeting is Monday, September 12th from 2:30-4:30. Please meet in LRC right after school.
5) Also coming up is our PBIS activity: Lunch on the Lawn. It is planned for Wednesday, September 28th. I will be grilling hotdogs for all who want to join us for a picnic. The cost is only 10 Hills Bills. This includes not only lunch outside but also activity time outside. If you would like to participate, please pay your success teacher no later than Wednesday, September 14th.
6) Sports Today – Girls Volleyball…Jefferson vs. Drexler Red. 7th grade at Jefferson and 8th grade at Drexler; both beginning at 4 p.m.
7) Fundraiser leaders…Mr. McMullen 47 sales; Holm 35 sales; Tringale with 26 sales; and Garner 24 sale
