Thomas Jefferson Middle School Announcements

Monday, October 3, 2022 – Day A

1) Wish Amanda Marks a happy birthday today.

2) Birthdays Today…October 3rd…London Genous.

3) This week our 7-Mindsests lessons are focused on “Act and Adjust” – If you want to learn something new or try something you haven’t ever done before you have to go do it! Sometimes people may tell you it will be too hard. You may decide you want to give up. Don’t listen to people who say mean things about your dreams and don‘t give up on something you really want to do. Even if you don’t do it the first time just keep trying. You can do it!

4) Do you like making Tiktoks? Ever tried stop motion videos? Have a talent that’s hard to show off on stage? We still want you to get the glory. Starting today until November 1st, you can submit your video entries for our virtual talent show. Entries will be aired on the TVs during lunch, and students will vote for the winners. Contact Mr. McDowell with questions and submissions.

5) Looking ahead, 7th and 8th girls basketball will start on Monday, October 24th and wrestling will start on Monday, October 31st.
