Thomas Jefferson Middle School Announcements

Wednesday, December 21, 2022 – Day B

ALERT: There will be NO SCHOOL in the Dubuque Community School District on THURSDAY, DEC. 22, due to the winter storm warning in effect from tomorrow evening through Saturday.

Schools will remain on their normal schedules for tomorrow, Wednesday, Dec. 21.

1) Birthdays Today…December 21st…Rebecca Bellman, Kamryn Schumacher, Kenyari Woodson, Drake Curler, Hayden March.

2) 7th/8th grade boys’ basketball and Girl’s Dance will be starting on Jan. 3rd. Student must have a physical on file to participate.

3) If any students are interested in joining choir, please talk to Mr. Jacobson so you can start after the break.

4) Remember to check your emails for the D.A.R.E Ski/Snowboard Day on December 30th and the Hempstead Girls Basketball Holiday Skills Camp on December 28th through December 30th.

5) Meals in Minutes will be today! We are making the upside-down chicken pot pie, but there will not be a new signup going out. We have a limit of 20 kids, so get to LEAP right after school to secure your spot!

6) During LEAP today, we have a very special Holiday Make and Take Activities! You will have the opportunity to make a snowflake or snowman ornament and make holiday cards. This is a great opportunity to make a fun gift for a family member or friend!

7) LEAP for today…Homework Help, Musical Theater Dance Workshop, All About Arts, Meals in Minutes, Make and Take Activities, Archery.

8) There will be no LEAP activities tomorrow.
