3) Just a reminder on November 30th we will have Jefferson first Trivia Day! Trivia will cost 20 Hills Bills and you need to sign up with your success time teacher! Some examples of the trivia questions include: What do you call animals that eat mostly plants? How many pounds are in a ton? What is the grinch’s dog’s name? Remember this is just for fun and a time to hang out with friends and test your knowledge. Sign up today!

4) The FTC Robotics Club will be competing at a meet in Iowa City tomorrow. Please wish them Good Luck.

5) Veterans Day is a public holiday held on the anniversary of the end of World War I, on November 11, to honor US veterans and victims of all wars. This holiday is a celebration to honor America’s veterans for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good.

6) Awesome job to the Jefferson wrestling team on their opening meet against Drexler, Roosevelt, and Beckman last nights. All wrestlers showed great determination in all their matches, respect towards the referees and competitors, and support for one another. Every wrestler should be very proud of their hard work and effort! Go Hillhawks!

1) Birthdays Today…November 9th…Raelyn Heim, Eric Heim.

2) Thankfulness is a contagious, healthy, positive practice that improves our relationships and helps us feel good. This week, we are challenging each SUCCESS time to create a giant poster celebrating “thankfulness”. We’ll use these as a way to cover our hallways in positivity…and enjoy some fun and friendly competition. On Monday, November 21st, all posters on display will be judged on how well they show thankfulness, neatness, and use of color. The winning SUCCESS time will receive a hot chocolate treat on November 22nd. Supplies will be arriving soon, so start thinking of how your SUCCESS time wants to display the things, people, and ideas you’re thankful for!

Monday, November 7, 2022 – Day A

1) Birthdays Today…November 7th…No birthdays today.

2) Reminder it is the school district’s and Jefferson’s expectation that you wear your lanyard and ID while in the building. That is especially true, if you want to wear a hat or hood. Also, with the weather getting cooler, I want to remind everyone that ski mask type head coverings are not to be worn while in the building. If you need a new lanyard and/or ID, please come to the main office.
