1) Birthdays – January 24th…Maggie Tharp.

2) Our Monday message is building on our theme of being our B.E.S.T. – Behavior – Effort – Self-Discipline – and Together. As we go through our day, each of us interacts and affects those around us. Helen Keller, who’s a famous author, wrote, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much”. Yes, you need to do the work, but you are not alone. There are so many adults here that are willing to help you on your journey. Come to school every day, ask for help when needed, and accept the help when given. We are all in this together.

3) If you recall, our Monday Messages are centered around being our B.E.S.T. (Behavior, Effort, Self-discipline, Together) Last week, I talked about Behavior and this week’s Monday Message is focused on Effort. “Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.” -Robert Collier. To me, this suggests success is not due to LUCK. Rather, we are in control of our own success by doing small things well every day. Things like completing homework on time, asking for help when needed, studying for an upcoming test. What does it mean to you?
