1) Wish Leah Decker a happy birthday today.

3) Just a reminder…Lanyards and ID’s are required to be worn by all students and staff. If you don’t have your lanyard and ID, you will need to get a sticker from your Success Time teacher. At this time, we have given nearly every student 3 IDs. If you can’t find any of them, you can purchase a lanyard=$2 and an ID=$3 or you can get a set for 15 Hillsbills (5-for a lanyard / 10-for an ID) Also, you need to have your lanyard and ID on if you want to wear your hood up or a hat. Don’t be surprised if teachers address this with you if you are not following the expectations.

1) Wish Theresa McDonough a happy birthday today.

3) Do you like making Tiktoks? Ever tried stop motion videos? Have a talent that’s hard to show off on stage? We still want you to get the glory. Starting today until November 1st, you can submit your video entries for our virtual talent show. Entries will be aired on the TVs during lunch, and students will vote for the winners. Contact Mr. McDowell with questions and submissions.

4) Sports Today – Boys and Girls Cross Country Meet (2 Miles)…Jefferson, Roosevelt, Washington, Mazzuchelli, Western Dubuque, West Delaware at the Manchester Fairgrounds beginning at 4:15 p.m.

5) Sports Today – 6th Grade Boys and Girls Track Meet…Jefferson, Roosevelt, and Washington track meet at Dalzell beginning at 5:15 p.m.

3) This week our 7-Mindsests lessons are focused on “Act and Adjust” – If you want to learn something new or try something you haven’t ever done before you have to go do it! Sometimes people may tell you it will be too hard. You may decide you want to give up. Don’t listen to people who say mean things about your dreams and don‘t give up on something you really want to do. Even if you don’t do it the first time just keep trying. You can do it!

8) Who’s going on the American Lady Cruise on October 20th? In second place, with 123 cards sold, it’s Mrs. Holm’s class and in first place with an amazing 133 cards sold, it’s Mr. Mullen’s Success Time. However, our top sellers are also going. 2) Picture retakes are today. Only those students who were not here to get their picture taken the first time or those students who ordered a set of pictures and parents were not happy with the photo will be participating. If you ordered pictures and would like to retake your photo, you need to bring in the original pictures and turn them in to the photographer at the time of your photo.
